有梁朝伟拍摄的雪佛兰迈锐宝的电视广告正在各大电视台播出，里面的背景音乐正是这首california dreamin（加州之梦）
这是一首老民谣了，在电影《重庆森林》和《阿甘正传》中做过插曲。
音乐原唱为组合the Mamas & the Papas乐队。这个乐队不是很知名，1964年成立，1968年即告解散，典型的美国民谣风格。
